Residential inventory service provides comprehensive documentation of a property's contents and fixtures including condition and cleanliness. This service typically involves detailed reports, photographs and descriptions to assist landlords, tenants and homeowners in managing their properties effectively. It ensures accurate records of meter readings, functioning of appliances, alarms and smoke detectors for insurance purposes, dispute resolution, or transitioning between tenants, enhancing overall property management efficiency and peace of mind.
Inventory + Check in
Our inventory and check-in service aims to ensure a seamless transition for tenants as they move into their new residence. On the day of occupancy, our team conducts a detailed walkthrough of the property, facilitating a thorough review of the inventory report. We record meter readings, test smoke and CO2 detectors, and deliver keys to tenants, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of the property's condition and safety features. Even if tenants are unable to attend the check-in, we are able to deliver or arrange a pick up of keys accompanied by a sign-off process ensuring a smooth transition. Within 24 hours, all involved parties receive the finalized report, demonstrating our commitment to transparency and professionalism throughout the move-in process.
What's Included?
The process includes testing smoke alarms and CO2 detectors, recording meter readings and documenting all keys provided. An extensive overview of cleaning is conducted, along with a minimum of five photos taken per room, complete with descriptions and images of fittings and contents. Any defects are noted with images, switches and appliances are tested for functionality and white goods are listed and examined. Availability of appliance manuals are noted, locks are tested along with blinds and windows. We aim to make the process as comfortable, efficient and easy for both the new tenants and the agents/landlords.
